Project
This project covers section of the new Line 15 between the stations of Pont-de-Sèvres and Saint-Denis-Pleyel (both excluded). It comprises:
- 20km of new tunnel
- 9 new stations
- 21 new shafts for fire exit, ventilation and smoke extraction
- 1 special structure: the back-station at Nanterre-la-Folie
The 20kms of this section run entirely underground up to a depth of 60m. The single-tube tunnel, with an inner diameter of 8.70m (9.50m of external diameter) is executed with TBM. Soil stabilisation and injections are required in underground quarries areas (Saint-Cloud).
The 9 underground stations are designed to host 108m long trains, with a width between 23m and 30m depending on the number of users and a depth from 23m to 35m. The excavation of the station is undertaken with the help of 60m deep and 1.80m thick diaphragm walls, executed in advance of the start of the earthworks.
- Dense urban surroundings requiring complex works phasing
- Complicated local geological context
- Ambitious functional programme
- Multiple interfaces: internal (architecture, facilities), third parties linked to the SGP / Société du Grand Paris (Systems Project Manager, Stations unity, …), third Project Owners, …
Services
setec tpi leads the Project Management Joint Venture and ensures the steering of the team. The design services range from the scheme design to the detailed design. These services cover:
- Civil engineering of the project’s infrastructures: tunnel, stations, shafts and back-station
- Building engineering elements and the operational design of the stations and the emergency exit shafts (power, plumbing, smoke extraction, …)
The stations’ and emergency shafts’ projects are managed entirely in BIM.
- Geotechnical engineering
- Risk management
- Utilities and networks rerouting management
- Administrative procedures such as planning and construction permissions, environmental approvals, …
- Urban planning procedures
- Fire safety systems coordination
- Waste management
- Infrastructure Instrumentation
- Environmental assessment execution
- Project Life-Cycle Costing analysis
- Public consultation assistance
