The metro line 15 of the Grand Paris Express is a new public transport infrastructure that will allow the passenger to move between the suburbs around Paris without having to go through the city centre. This will help with the decongestion of the existing RER and radial metro lines.

The section “3” of this line, also known as the South section, connects the Monsieur island at Sèvres with the centre of the commune of Villejuif. This section runs entirely underground due to the high urban density.

The commissioning of the new line 15 increases the number of users of the Châtillon – Montrouge station. This station currently serves as terminus of the metro line 13, tram line T6 as well as several other bus lines, pedestrians, cyclists and bikers through its bus station in the surface.

All these usages are reconfigured since the new station, located below the existing bus station, is attached to the metro line 13

The design project is extended under the ownership of the 92 District Council, integrating the pedestrian RATP tunnel.
